Advice for a plugin

Hello, I am an engineering student and I'm using google SketchUp plugin Openstudio since 3 months, but I have a question to ask: is there a plugin that allows me to enter new materials with their physical properties?

What good would that do? With a plugin you can assign any attribute to anything in SketchUp. But with something like physical properties, Sketchup won't know what to do with those properties. Are you thinking to export those properties somehow to a different software that can use them?
