What would be awesome is a shortcut button to switch between "view -> component edit view -> Hide Rest of Model / Hide Similar Components" I spend so much time switching between on/off!!!

In case anyone has the time and inclination to take on my pet project!! πŸ˜„

      Thanks,

You can make that shortcut: go to Window > Preferences > Shortcuts and create (any) custom shortcut. Use the "filter" method to quickly spot what you want to make the shortcut for.

In this case, the shortcut will work as a toggle between hidden and visible. I personally set Ctrl+H for hide (show) rest of model and Shift+Ctrl+H for hide (show) similar (components or groups).

I use "H" and "ctrl-H" myself. I toggle them frequently!

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
