    Hi Guys

Sorry if this is a stupid question or has been covered elsewhere but is it possible to have pages of a different size within a single layout 3 document? I've tried page set up but it seems to change the size of all sheets when I just want to change one - unless I'm missing something?

I'm working in a large project where I want to have some A1/A2 sheets for plans and elevations but also some A3/A4 sheets for details and easy circulation to contractors etc, just like I currently do in Vectorworks. Is this possible in a single layout document?

Sorry again if this is a dim / repeat question - I'm returning to Sketchup pro after a fairly long break!

    Cheers

    Neil

Can't be done as far as I'm aware. I can't say I'm disappointed as it's a nightmare (wasteful) if you need to print the file and the sheets are random. The work around would be to send the exported PDF's to a PDF printer where they can be compiled into a single file.

Thanks for the response - I thought it seemed like it was a case of all sheets having to be the same size.

I think I understand what you are saying about (batch?) printing a range of drawings on different sheet sizes from a single document but I'm a Vectorworks user and when I set up sheets of different sizes I just send them to different printers as needed when I want hard copies. Would Layout not just work the same way (if it had the facility to accommodate varying sheet sizes in a single document of course)?

Have I picked you up correctly?

Yes I was referring to batch printing. It may be one to add to the wishlist but I personally feel there are much more basic issues to be worked on in LO that may take at least a couple of upgrades before advanced printing was considered, but SU is "under new management" so we'll just have to wait and see on progress...
