Ruby Plugin 2D Tools

I am trying to get the Ruby Plugin "2D Tools" into my Sketchup. I have downloaded it. It downloads as a zip file but I have been unable to unzip it. Can anyone help me to do this? Windows 7 is supposed to do this (as I understand), with just a right click. This does not work for me.
I am using windows 7 and Sketchup 8. In the ruby library depot, under "How to install", They state "Special, see documentation". I assume one must unzip the file to see these instructions?Can anyone see what I need to do.

Did you download it from the Ruby Depot?
