      Hi,

I was wondering if you guys could help me out here with a couple of answers? I just started using layout and can really see the potential. The problem is I saw this video of Nick Sonder Architect and saw the way he does his construction drawings which looked awesome. The problem I am having is I cannot seem to find the fog controls in layout that look like his (shown in photo attached) I am using windows base and he is mac but I cannot find it for the life of me. I have all of the controls he has except for Shadow Settings and Fog. What am I doing wrong here? Any help would be appreciated.

The second question is when I have a view port in layout. In sketchup I show no background colors etc just white. When the view port first opens in layout it is the same. The minute I move the model in the view port and click out of the view port it puts the green and blue background back in. I try to re-render it in settings but get the golden triangle. Can you tell me what I may be doing wrong here.

      Thanks for the help.

      Duane

The fog is in SU. The triangle indicates the reference in LO needs updating.

Do you have a scene set up and updated in the SU file? Save the file. Be sure you have the same scene or a "modified"version of that scene selected in LO.

Also if your settings are a saved style in SU you should be able to choose that style in LO and restore the appearance you had.
