Okay, so... I have a pretty sizable building I'm working on. It's residential, it probably has around 250 double hung windows. I'm using a generic dynamic component for these windows.

The problem I having is with color. The DC offers 3 choices brown, wood, or white... I need to use a different color. Which isn't super hard. I figure I'll change one and it will apply to all of them... after all, they are all the same component right? No. I can change one but the changes don't automatically apply even when I copy one over the color changes back.

And then, to top it off- I I explode the component, then change the color it wont copy at all... it just disappears.

What can I do to easily change all the window's colors... am I missing something?
