Curviloft won't loft along path any more
-
Hi -
Another new Sketchup user here. I'm trying to model a curved duct for an R/C model jet using Curviloft. I've gotten several iterations of the duct done using Curviloft, but the latest one now won't loft along the path any more.
In this iteration, I changed the path some, trying to smooth it out. After selecting the path and then the three faces, I click "loft along path" and these red and green diamonds show up in several places and the form is not generated.
I have attached a screen shot showing the situation. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Sorry about that, here is a file in V6 format. There are two duct geometries in here. One of them works and the other one doesn't, as described in my first post. Thanks!

Bill,
You spotted a bug in Curviloft (due to the problem that
.parallel?method is inaccurate).I need some more check, but in the meantime, just drop the attached file Lib6Offset3d.rb into the LibFredo6_Dir_45 folder and it should work for your model.
to drop into the LibFredo6_Dir_45 folder

Wow, thanks for your prompt reply! I will give this a try. Curviloft is a great plugin!
One thing, my installation has a _46 folder, not _45. Is that going to matter?

_46 is Ok, as this is the last version.
