How to prepare this template?
-
Hi mates
recently I remembered that there was a template, based on different levels and views of building at the era of SU4 or maybe 5... so tried to prepare mine.
I wish that be able to prepare a "scene" for each , level , or view, so that when I am working on (i.e.) first level, then only "first level layer" is "on" and "Active", and the same for other levels- scenes.
when started to make it, confused completely , kz seems that when I go between different it doesn't works wright...and extra level. remain "ON" and my "active (current) level" doesn't change....
what is wrong with me, and if is it possible , do you mind to prepare such template and share it please? -
Majid, the general advice is not to change the active layer (with the round "radio buttons") to anything but keep it Layer0. You can, of course change the visibility of layers (with the square "checkboxes") any time...
Now when you add a new layer, it automatically becomes visible in each scene. This is how SU works by default. Jim has a plugin though which adds a layer that's hidden by default: http://sketchuptips.blogspot.hu/2007/08/add-hidden-layer.html
