Exported file corrupted
-
My exported SketchUp 8 AVI animations that exceed 2 GB in size will not play on Realplayer or WMP. However, when I
reduce the number of scenes and get the size under 2 GB, they play fine. Why is the size difference causing this problem ? -

I export all my animations as single images and then use quicktime pro 7 to put the images together into a movie.
What pixel dimensions are you exporting at?

I used 1024x768 with 29.97 fps without compression. The smaller avi files that were not corrupted looked
great after conversion to hi-res WMP format. Using any lower resolution is hardly worth looking at. -

I would export as images if you want to go high or do shorter chapters and use an editing software to put them together.

Yes, I've broken the animation down into 4-5 scene clips separated with transitions, and it looks ok this way.
Thanks for you help. -
No worries, I found animations very temperamental.
