Point Cloud integration

Some "affordable" tools or service to utilize Point cloud/LIDAR data.
Lidar surveys are becoming more common and now with the Trimmble acquisition of SU I'd hope to see some kind of integration.
Currently, the only thing I've seen is Bentley's Pointools plugin for SU. http://www.pointools.com.
