This is a great 3D model viewer. it supports many popular 3D data formats. With help of this app, you can take your 3D files with you no matter where you are, at home or traveling abroad, and view them with your iPad in any way you want, for instance, changing different zoom level, different color, different perspective, etc.

The app supports 3D data files in the following formats:

    Stereo Lithography (.stl)
    3ds Max 3DS (
    .3ds)
    Wavefront Object (.obj)
    AutoCAD DXF (
    .dxf)
    Terragen Terrain (.ter)
    Valve Model (
    .smd)
    Quick3D (.q3d)
    Quick3D (
    .q3s)
    3D GameStudio (.mdl)
    Quake II Mesh (
    .md2)
    Quake III (.md3)
    Quake V (
    .md5mesh)
    CharacterStudio Motion (.csm)
    Collada (
    .dae)
    Biovision BVH (.bvh)
    3ds Max ASE (
    .ase)
    BlitzBasic 3D (.b3d)
    Object File Format (
    .off)
    AC3D (.ac)
    Milkshape 3D (
    .ms3d)
    Stanford Polygon Library (.ply)
    Neutral File Format (
    .nff)
    Sense8 WorldToolkit (.nff)
    Raw Triangles (
    .raw)

The App provides many 3D features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, changing color, switching from surface rendering mode to wireframe mode, etc. It also supports animation mode in which your model would automatically rotate. If your model contains multiple parts, you can select part individually and change its color or delete it. You can also put multiple 3D files into the same scene to view them altogether. and they don't have to be in the same format. It is so easy to control it. You will love the way your model looks.

3D model files can be added to the app's document folder through iTunes, after that, just tap file open button of the app to load them. You can also use the app to open 3D files you received in your email attachment. Just double tap on the 3D attachment in you email or other file management apps, the 3D viewer would be launched automatically. If you don't need a model any more, you can easily use the delete feature of the app to remove it.

If you need iPhone or iPad app for other 3D file formats, for instance, stl, 3ds, obj, vrml, ply, etc, please search Afanche t

The Japanese app store link doesn't work for me. Here's the US version:
