What has happened here is that colloquial usage or auditory interpretation has taken hold. For instance: "big ass" should be big assed-- or equipped with excessive proportions of whatever the attribute is, for whatever the subject under discussion is.
So, Miguel, you are correct in your interpretation.
Similarly, the phrase "could of" would be properly "could have", or the contraction "could've".
Not meaning to be judgmental.'could of' ?
you mean coulda?
woulda coulda shoulda kinda sorta gonna..[i guess that's a mix up of where the 'a' comes from but i think it stems from the physical act of pronouncing the words.. for instance, 'could have'.. when finishing the 'd' in could, your tongue is so perfectly set up to say 'of' instead of 'have'.. and even more perfectly set up to just finish it with an 'uh' sound or an 'a'..

@Jeff-- that's how I talk, not how I write. How did you know?

So how long does it take to get your yoga instructors accreditation ?

I'm betting a lot longer than it takes to lose it!

Is there a photo of him when he stands up? That could be incriminating.......

also you know... he sure doesn't fit the mold of a yoga instructor, like mine, who generally looks MUCH better than everyone else in the room (except my wife). This guy just walked in from the weight room and SAID he was the instructor
