Sketchup 8 can't see my printer

I've had computer problems and had to reload windows XP. Since doing this despite having re-installed the printer drivers Sketchup tells me that I need to install a printer. I've re-installed Sketchup. No other applications on the computer are having this difficulty and I appeared to have arrived at a dead end with no clue what to try next. Can anyone help please?
