I'm new at this Sketchup Pro8 and have been watching videos & am still having trouble replicating what I see in the videos. If I have opening page with front view of a house, can i insert multiple files on other pages of differant views and do my work to it and at the end save it all together as one file at end....??????

Sure. You can insert as many views of the same model or as many models as you want (and as your computer can cope with).

Firts of all, make sure to create the scenes in SketchUp. Front, Side, Top etc. Also make sure to update any style you may have changed. Then in LO, insert the view of the model and when you select that view, the SU Model dialog will be activated on the right. Below I inserted two views onto the same page so that you can see - they correspond to the respective SU scenes.

To add another view of the same model onto another page, I usually just copy the inserted view, go to the next page and paste. Then adjust the view as needed (e.g. select scene)

        Welcome Dylan!

You will love this site. Gai is spot on with a great visual. I'll reinforce the key to Layout happiness is managing your scenes in SU. Always update your Layout file with the actual scene from sketchup. If you render it as "modified (sketchup view name)", then you will not get the true updated scene you saved in Sketchup.

        Happy modeling!
