      Hi

      Is it possible to call a tool like the Sandbox tool from a ruby script?
      I wish to create a surface with sandbox tool for countours my script has created (and my also select befor it calls the Sandbox tool).

      Any ideas?

      best regards

      Hans

        Look inside C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Tools\Sandbox\sandboxmenus.rb which loads the tools.
        You can find the name of the tool in each command...
        I guess you want is...
        Sketchup::active_model.select_tool(FromContoursTool.new())
        which works on the current selection, which you need to set to be your contours beforehand...
