Podium V2 Rendered Image Size

Hello,
I have a model that im working on of a street, got a bit of detail within it but i was playing around with rendereing it in Podium V2 (just a few different styles)
I can render the image thats no problem however its the size that i want rendered.
I have a dedicated render computer and normally pump out renders at viewport size to check materials and so forth, this particular render i have been doing at 9580x5000 when i want some sort of a final. Normally do it over night and average time has been about 3hours for the render. I have been trying to see how large i can go and when i tried 15328x8000 it took 7 hours to render however the resolution was at viewport size (1916*1000)When i render at this size the image takes me about 20 mins.So i know that the Podium website states that "there is unlimited resolution size for the rendered images" but is that true?
Im really just being curious here.FYI my render computer specs are as follows:
HP Z800
-2x Xeon X5660 CPU's (2.8ghz)
-32gb ram
-Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
-NVIDIA Quadro 600 -
I'm not sure, have you tried their website forum?
I can say with your rig specs anything should be fast.

nah just tried a quick search but couldnt really come up with anything specific, like i said im just curious and thought someone here might have done a massive render before.
In Kerkythea (the 64 bit boost version) i have actually rendered an image at about 50000x30000 pixels, cant remember if i tried any larger though.

I tried rendering @ 10000 pixels wide with Podium some time ago. The app kept crashing. Rendering @ 9999 pixels wide proved no problem. So ... I'm thinking Podium doesn't like numbers with more than 4 digits.
Your best option is to alert them to the problem via their forum.

Not to state the obvious, but if its running within the context of a 32bit app, isn't it simply running out of addressable memory?
Having 32 GB won't make any difference as the app can only access the first 2GB.
eg 15328 x 8000 (x 8 for pixel storage) is about 1GB, but you've only get 2GB address space which includes the app itself, so my guess its failing to allocate memory.

I have "successfully failed" with very large renders with engines running inside SU and indeed it was due to memory. Now my main machine is still a 32 bit XP and therefore the same happened when I switched to Kerkythea (which would have a 64 bit version now but I cannot make use of it).
This is probably why some apps that have region rendering capabilities are useful especially in 32 bit rendering environment.

Podium doesn't run inside of SketchUp, and there's a 64 bit version available. So that's not the issue, I think.

Correct I am running 64 bit Podium v2.8 and it does not render within SketchUp.
The computer i have for rendering is specifically design for crunching numbers and rendering, only thing it needs is a better GPU (which im working on) in the hopes to be using Lumion, just need to get work to sign off on it.I will get in contact with Podium to see what the problem could be, I might try rendering a basic model and see how large i can go though

Installing Kerkythea 64bit was a little tricky as not all the files actually get installed but once it is and you render in it, it flys compared to the 32bit version!
