Counting DC Sub-Components

Hello All, is there a function i can use in the attributes to display the count of all instances of a copied Sub-Component?
I create a rectangular array, and then delete & rotate some of the copied instances to customize the shape.
I would like this number to update when i delete a few sub-components from the Dynamic component, for reporting purposes.
I am using SpaceDesign to report the components, so a function anyone knows of that I could put into that Plugin to count the instances would also work.
If anyone can help, my ears are wide open.
