      Hi,

I use Eagle3D with sketchup and SU2POV. I recently updated to the latest version of SU2POV and now it won't work with the tutorial that I was using. Is there an archive of older versions of SU2POV that someone could point me to?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

      Regards,
      Jeremy

          Regerds,

          Hi,

Thanks for your response! Actually I am not sure. I was just looking for an archive so I could find a version the had the same settings on it. If you look at the tutorial I linked to, he has photos of the options from the SU2POV. I know that is a pain, but that's the best answer I can give you. I would say it was around May of 2010 that i last created parts that worked.

          Regards,
          Jeremy

I actually changed over to EagleUp and am much happier than I was with Eagle3D. I am able to edit the board and parts without having to code anything. Here is a board that I did with EagleUp and then rendered with the current version of SU2POV and POV-Ray. Much easier and more intuitive!

I have been having a blast with the EagleUp plug-in. I draw the circuit with EagleCad, export with EagleUp to Sketchup, Add any components that don't show up and then Render to POV-Ray using SU2POV plug-in. I am getting some really nice finished products in my opinion. Here are a few of my renderings:
