I want to (eventually) convert a metal lathe to cnc and was wondering if google sketchup can be used to produce the g-code (using mach 3)? Any good resources that could show how or give any tips?

SketchUcam, generates 'g-code' direct from SU... john
learn from the mistakes of others, you may not live long enough to make them all yourself...
