Copy in line of succesion

It's called "Linear array" (See somewhere at the bottom here)
Basically:

1. select the group then the Move tool
2. press Ctrl key (no need to hold down)
3. move a copy where you want (snapping on top of the original for instance)
4. type x7 (for instance) and hit Enter. Together with the first copy, 7 instances will be "arrayed".
   You can do "Radial arrays" with the Rotate tool in a similar way.
