Residential model...

Looks good Julie. I would change the shrubs to something more photoreal and increase the size of the driveway pavers. Perhaps a little reflection/tranparency on the glass material would bring it to life.
Also, in Podium, when you turn on shadows, the light and dark sliders will come into play. Try to turn the dark to something around 20 or below and the light to something above 80. Also, turn on Use sun for shading to get softer shadows.

earthmover: the shadows seem soft already. Am I missing something?
Julie, Another great model and impressive design. Looks like quite a place. Again it seems like a "table top" model, and I like that. Makes me feel like I could handle it...Put a "DON'T TOUCH" sign on it!

Great model, great rendering and great house. Looks like a beach house in Bayhead.
Don't know about Podium but I'm sure you can find an answer. Might want to ask in the Podium forums if you haven't already.

That is a great looking model..excellent detail. I like the render as well. As far as podium is concerned Earthmover is correct, but I think only the "dark" slider has any effect on the shadows. In the latest release of Podium, the light is allot stronger so it's a little tougher to control..one tip I read in the forum is to move the model away from origin (0,0)that will weaken the light intensity and give you a little better control. I really like your siding texture and the color is great. I would agree with Earthmover on the paver size, and maybe adding some reflection to the glass...and maybe look for a better grass texture.

wow..i'm with everyone else..this is really great, the tree model is great, but the shrub models jsut dont work.. definitley looks like a model... could be even more so with a tabletop and subtle background...maybe even add a little dof with a tilt shift plugin or something....
awesome stuff though.. great looking model/design

I'm lovin' the lighting as well: looks perfect for interior lighting to me, just needs a table top under the model...even those faceme shrubs look like I could reach out and pick them up. AND: lovely modeling...just great!
(Might want to check the code for your chimney height, though: you don't appear to be 2' above 10' away...? :`)

Well light slider does not do anything...only dark slider does. I cannot detect any lighting (including sun) only GI.
Btw nice model and render as well. If you want some presets please come to Podium forum. We have released optimaLEM.xml this week.
As far as 2d clips we have released Podium Plants and Trees as alpha png so you should have good looking model in SU as well. No more need to have seperate clipmaps.
