Convert Sketchup drawing to .dwg or .dxf
-
Hello,
Please help me understand if what I'm planning can actually be done.
I need to have some plates CNC'ed from say a 2mm titanium -or carbon fiber plate. If I draw the shape of the plates in Sketchup (not the Pro version) can I then have someone convert it in Sketchup Pro to .dwg or .dxf files that can then be imported into AutoCad?

You can certainly can have someone convert it for you - as well as you may be interested in this plugin:

Sweet. Thanks. I'll give it a shot and get back with questions.

If you have questions regarding the plugin, ask in that topic instead. Since I have the pro version (with native dwg/dxf export/import), I do not need and have/use that plugin.

Of course.
