Duplicate pipes

Hey.
I'm new at this with dc and I wanna learn. I want to stretch some pipes like in this picture. (12meters x 2meter)
And I want to scale it so that the pipes in between looks like this picture. 1x(12meters x 2meter) 1x(6meter x 2meter) = 18meters
And when its longer it looks like this 2x(12meters x 2 meter) and so on
The betweenpipes are placed like this, the first one (on a 12 meters pipe) 50 centimeters, number two centrum (if the pipes are longer then 8 meters), number tre 50 centimerers from the end.
Someone that has any tips?

This should not be too hard - have you made any progress? What is the diameter of the pipe?

I havent made so much progress.
Just making copies but not any more. The diameter is 400mm on the long ones and 315mm on the between pipes.
