How can I transfer a file to a file?

How can I transfer a file to a file?For example I have created a chair and I wish to transfer to other file.

Copy and paste.
or
Drag and drop.
or
Save as a component to the component library and load it to the new file. -

Or import the chair in the other design using File Menu --> Import. Choose skp as file type.
Just ideas.
