-
Hi everybody,
I dont know if ther's a thread on the automatisaton of procedures.
I need to do repetitive treatment and I'm looking for : a plugin, a script or a "batch" to do the acquisition of a large field + (with textures in High resolution in google Earth). For the moment I don it manually:
Add More imagery then I select my zone
Select Region then I move and select my zone
and Grab
to get the 3D I use > Toggle Fieldthank you

Hi Aboudayina and welcome!
This has not been made automatic but at least there is a plugin now which allows easy (or at least easier) "stitching" the imported terrains together:

Thx Gaieus,
it is certain that this plugin can be useful,
but for the work I have to do it is not enough.
I have 50 km of land has captured so I really have to find the tool that will change my life.
I'm still invegesting!

50 km??? Are you not having clipping issues?
http://sketchup.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=36261Also, are you planning to re-export anything built on this terrain to GE?

I use SketchUp and Google Earth only for having realistic terrain and realistic road network to built ON IT in an other 3D software.
I plan to export the FBX 3D mesh for example, merge them all in a global terrain mesh that's why the problems of clipping does not worry me.
Also I 'm not going to export anything to GE.
