CREATE POLYGON FROM CENTER

Hi everyone..
I hope you can point me to a plug-in that creates shape from center. Similar on how default circle is created, I wish I could create instant rectangle, square, octagon and other polygon (I specify # of sides) from CENTER point- outward. I find that it would be helpful in my current task in modeling landscape architecture elements that has lots of fountains, planters, etc.Thanks a lot!

Use the Polygon tool and type 4s enter for square 8s enter for octagon etc.

Exactly. The polygon tool works just like you described. You can activate it from the Draw menu or activate the toolbar it is in from the View > Toolbars menu
