      Hi all

I'm new to this forum. I started out using Cad programs (self taught) and once I found sketch up I couldn't believe how easy 3-D design was comparatively speaking. I've been using Sketch up since version 3 and just recently gotten 8 pro. While I'm not an avid user I am a rabid supporter and recommend it to everyone as a must have program.

Over the years I've used sketch up to remodel my house and build everything from a custom home theater including the rack for my equipment. Even with my experience I'm still a newbie and have lots to learn. Right now I'm using sketch up to design "out riggers" for speakers to help out in another forum. I've read several posts here and I'm excited by what I've seen. Kudos to all involved. I look forward to enhancing my skills with your help.

      Thanks in advance!

        Welcome, zuter:
As you may know, you can read a lot of back pages and search by keywords to locate discussions that may be related to a question.
If you have questions related to Sketchup, a specific rendering application, or a script/plugin, there are many here who can answer or point you in the right direction.
If you have been using Sketchup since version 3, you may have insight for others, so, don't be a stranger.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.
