Problems installing SU-8/Wine-3.1.24/F-15

I am having problems installing SU-8 on a Linux fedora-15 with wine 3.1.24. I have gotten as far as a SU icon on the desktop (a second icon "Google SketchUp 8.lnk" is there also) that when clicked the first time took me to a Welcome page, but crashed when I tried to go farther. The second time I unchecked the box to "Show..." and it crashed again. Now all that happens is the desktop flashes white briefly and crashes without any error message.
I have followed the tutorial on SU Sage, prior to this. I did find some errors that may or may not be the problem but don't know how to proceed. For instance. Installing Windows dlls, It would not accept Flash because the checksum did not match. I followed the programs advice 3 times with the same results. Additionally, I could not find the "SnappyInstructor" in regedit.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
