Interesting free elevations and details from RAoA
-
I was surfing Google books while trying to find an elevation of the Nahant Village Church by Ware & Van Brunt, and as it goes of course I got side tracked by all the other cool things the interwebs turns up when you start searching for odd things. Anyway, I came across a bunch of free elevations and architectural sketchings that some might find interesting at the Royal Academy of Arts Collections.
Enjoy.

fantastic... I wish I could look through stuff like this every day.

Wow! I love looking at this stuff, too. Thank you so much. I would love to be able to figure out how to create styles for SketchUp that would be similar to a lot of these drawings.

Glad some will find it useful!

Dave, that would be an awesome style.

Gorgeous collection of designs. It's interesting to compare the drawings with the actual; they seem to have abandoned a few finials and changed the top windows on the right hand gable. Adcote is private school for girls now.
