HELP! I just bought a Wiz-Bang laptop that was supposed to be able to fly through sketchup without any issues... which it does, but it has glitches associated with all blocks and all components. I have a Dell Precision M6600, Intel i7 Quad2.2 6M 2720QM Processor, 16GB ram, 2GB AMD FirePro 8900 Pro Video Card. When i get into sketchup everything looks great/works great, but when i close the file and reopen it, it has glitches. The glitches go away when I am not actively navigating the model (pan, shift, zoom, etc.). There are no crashes, just these visual glitches.

If i turn off the Hardware Accelerator, then the glitches go away, but then my Sketchup runs slower...

Anyone have the same issues/ Anyone have a solution?

      Thanks,

      Chandler

Sometimes even new computers ship with outdated drivers. You can try to upgrade the display driver (download the latest from ATI) and hope for the best. Check that the settings like Antialiasing and Anisotopic filtering and other 3D-related settings in the display control panel are set to "application controlled" or equivalent. Some very old ATI cards performed better if "Fast Feedback" in the SU Preferences>OpenGL settings was turned off.

        Just suggestions.
