Concerned Villagers Use Google Sketchup Against Warehouse Conversion

I found the bit about 'songbirds and butterflies' amusing. The speaker is wondering why this project was 'passed' ....... errrrr ....... 'brown 'thick' envelopes!' come to mind!

the use of sketchup indeed can support their case. I worked in urban planning before and i know a lot of tricks to hide personal gains. but sketchup can bring them to the light. πŸ‘

Saw this on Google+ posted by John Bacus, quite a convincing video, gotta say 'free Sketchup' as the guy in video refers to certainly showed the 'big evil' company up. πŸ˜‰

            Very good.

Although not as big as this project, it reminded me of the dock project I helped get modified a few years ago. sketchUp and Earth came in very handy for that one, too.
