Was gonna enter this into the 30 minute challenge but realised I already had one entry and the new rules only allow for one, so I adding a little more detail and rendered it instead as there is no point in a model going to waste.

Because it's modeled in symmetry, I only modeled half of it, made it a component and flipped it, so that line is the join.

The square stippling, is that displacement?

The main texture on cassette has a basic Thea supplied noise at 25% bump, the squareish texture is this image:

Used also as a bump (no displacement used) at 45%.

Yes, it's one of the procedural noises (Perlin) notice I scaled it down to 100.00

So you just dragged and dropped the Perlin procedural after scaling into the bump slot?

That whole Procedural stuff is still Greek to me I'm afraid. Same for Sigma in the Structure tab. Anyway, thanks for the info

I dropped in the 'More Settings' menu, scaled it and dragged to bump slot.
