      Hi!

I've exported a SketchUp-model to 3ds in order to load it into Cinema4d to set up a simple animation. Not all of the textures I've used in SketchUp are shown in Cinema4d... at least not before rendering. After rendering, all the textures are visible, but some of them are transparent and it is possible to look into the model through them. 👊

I've no idea why this is happening and how to fix this issue.

I'd really appreciate any help with this!!

      Best regards and so long!

      Phil

        Hi Phil,

There may be several problems with 3ds. First of all, make sure that you do not display back faces and all your materials are applied on front faces only.

Then also make sure that your material names are no longer than 8 characters (although the exporter may handle this automatically).

And of course, there may be other issues as well - I do not use c4d so am not sure.

        Gai...
