MacBook Air 2011 and Sketchup

Hello guys.
First time here! I use Sketchup on a Mac Pro, but I was looking for a portable Mac that can run the program with medium sized projects. Do you think a 2011 MacBook Air, with i5 1.7ghz with Intel HD 3000 is up to the task? I am aware that a MacBook Pro is better suited for 3D, but I would greatly appreciate your comments to help me decide if the Air is a choice.
