Rotation gizmo disappears (SK 8 on Mac 10.6.8)

Dear all,
after updating my Macbook pro 7,1 from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8, I lost the rotation function in sketchup 8 pro !
The rotation gizmo completely disappear, or appear somewhere else than under the mouse.
The center of rotation do not appear where I click, big issue : imagine SKP without rotation !Is anyone experiencing the same ? I get same results with HW acceleration ON or OFF !
I put the SK8 "free" on mac mini, same 10.6.8 - no problem. I really suspect my macbook.I upgraded (the same computer) on Lion, and... same thing.
SK8 pro, Mac OSX 10.6.8 - everything installed standard.
