Are trains running in Greece?

Some friends of mine are stuck in Macedonia at the moment, they've been told that there's no trains running in Greece now. Is this true?

Macedonia as the country ("FYRoM") or Macedonia as the Greek province (or what they have there)?
(anyway, I do not know either)

FYRoM - I believe. As they've recently come from Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia. If they where in Greece they'd probably be able to work out for themselves if the trains where running.
I can't find anything either...
