      Hi There!
      I'm a new user of SketchUp and would like to know whats everyones recommended plugin/script that every should have, especially for new users.
      Ones I have are:
      Round Corners from the Fredo6 Collection. http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=20485
      SU2KT which is a script for exporting models to the Kerkythea Renderer. http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/

        If you are going to produce section cuts then SectionCutFace by TIG is an absolute must have!

        Do a search for Dline, which is also a very useful basic addition to the general toolset.

        Other than that there seems to be plugins for almost anything and if there isn't you can ask and someone may come up with a workaround or tip to help you achieve what you want.

          Absolutely have "Weld" on board. Also, "Mirror Selection". If you have not already done so, activate the native Sketchup extensions in Window>Preferences.

          Edit: Since you are familiar with Fredo6 collection, consider Joint Push/Pull. I also recommend that you become familiar with basic native tools and get some mileage with the "knitting" process, learning the behavior of the inference engine.

          I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

            It all depends on what kind of work you´re using SU for - if, for instance, you´re not interested in organic modeling, than you probably won´t need Artisan.
            Getting to know SU native tools first would be a good start IMO.
            Anyway, you might want to take a look at this topic: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=16909

                @Pilou:
                I have tried 3 times to click on your link "indispensables". It says "You are not authorized to view this forum"??

                      No problem. I knew about the "Must Have Plugins Visual Edition." However, this ain't about me. Acidblue gets his info-that's what counts. Merci 👍
