Poor quality animation upload

I have a quite complex model I am trying to upload from Sketchup 8.
every time i do, it comes out poorly pixelated.I run SU8 and Mac OS X 10 from a Macbook.
I am exporting into a quicktime movie.
Settings:
Custom 1020x680
29.97 FPS
Anti Alias rendering tickedCompression settings:
MPEG-4
Key frame 24
Quality BESTI have in the past exported perfect models, with no pixelation. But something has changed.
Can anyone help?

Could you post a screenshot or something to see what it looks like?
I always recommend exporting at a higher resolution. Perhaps try doubling the resolution (or even tripling) and reduce it afterwards.
