Wasn't SCF Powerbar the one that shipped with other authors plugins without consent?

Yes, as well as including "official" .rb files and folders from old versions of SketchUp.

Most of the item in the PowerToolbar require the original .rb script to be installed, and only creates a toolbar/menu item.

To remove the menus/toolbars, delete all the cd_*.rb files.

Note sketchup.rb and extensions.rb exist in SketchUp's Tools folder and can be safely deleted from SketchUp 8's Plugins folder.

          Hi
