Bedroom design

Hi all, Im now doing a project on bedroom design for a subject called Exploring the World. The purpose of this subject is to collaborate with people from different parts of the world. I choose this topic because I always think it is interesting to design your own room and decorate it splendidly. But I'm a new-hand in using Google Sketchup so I'd like you to comment and give advice on my 3D models and share me some advanced techniques to make the model looks more realistic.
