      Hi Guys,

I came across this interesting concept, the LEICA i9! The blurb goes, 'The Leica i9 Concept is a dream project that addresses a desire to combine two great products'

      Nice site here, http://www.blackda.com/black-cs-leicai9.html

I see only two downsides! The price at $1200! But again LEICAs are not cheap as the are the 'best'. Also I don't think I'd fancy the idea of holding a camera up to my ear to take / make a call. I wonder have they thought of that situation!

      Mike

I used to own two Leica's. An M6 (which i metered with) and an M2. Two lenses, a 35mm f2 Summicron and a 21mm f3.4 Super-Angulon with a finder. They were the best 35mm cameras I ever owned- far better than any Nikon or Canon.

I've now got two Lumix G1 digital bodies and a load of Lumix lenses. There is a rumour that these lenses are actually Leica ones, but with a different name, because they aren't built as well (made of plastic, not metal). I just did a shoot for a major international architectural company. I took five-four with me, but ended up just using the Lumix's. They are so sharp and such a joy to work with.
