Changing sun angle

i remember in version 7 I could change the sun angle...a circle used to come and i would set the north...but i can't find this option in version 8..

There is a "Solar north" toolbar now under View > Toolbars. Maybe it's in the Pro version only however. If so, Jim's Location plugin (that he wrote for SU 5 Free!) still works - and there is a box for setting the North angle:
