Crashing when importing city block

hey everyone,

gonna cut right to the chase.. doing some photo texturing of a few blocks of buildings for kicks and i notice that after 4 out of the 5 blocks it keeps crashing on me...
anyway around this ?
do i have the latest version..
using a mac 27'' pro so i daubt its the comp.

anyone?
