A Stage
-
I have been working with this scene and Thea, which was put together using some 3d Warehouse models, (thanks folks) and some of my own, mostly to try and learn things about lighting.
Although it is posted on the Thea forum, I thought I would post it here as well (although these are different renderings).
All C and C welcome.
A couple of renderings and the .skp

good very good I liked your render you felt me I Am in Thea
but you need to singer will be good band -
Hey jamalito
Some day I will find a way to get people in the renderings.
The singer job is open if you want to audition
Cheers -
I wish that
but about I will be singer I think it is bad Idea because I will get out to first time -
What is the segmented cone near the second floor monitor from the foreground? A light source? I see you have a Hammond B3? and a Leslie cabinet in the scene.
Nice work. Very realistic.

Yes mitcorb, it is a spotlight placed using the Thea Exporter. Although it is visible in SketchUp, you don't see it physically after it is rendered, just the light it produces. The Grand Piano has about 6 spots directed right at it, as it just absorbed light.
You bet Leslie and B3. There is no sound like that combination.
Also an old McCartney Hohner bass sitting next to the Contra bass.
It was really fun to put together. -

Attached is a link to a video done by Thea user wax, who has devised a way to use midi to trigger lighting effects in Thea.
He has taken the Stage scene, and really brought it to life with lighting and music.
He is very talented.
Sorry although I don't have trouble with embedding YouTube videos, I always seem to fail at vimeo. -
Damn,I can't remember the 70's, all because of the 60's
-
Oh No, you did the brown acid?
-
