Artisan and Vue
-
Just playing around while I wait on new work.
Modeled terrains using Artisan and UV mapped/textured and rendered with Vue.PIE-Scape
An oldie (from a previous challenge) that I redid the terrain (may have a tutorial of this soon)
Again textured and rendered with Vue:

This is what I have been thinking Artisan will shine at, terrain. These are great. Everytime I see your work in Vue I kick myself for not rolling up my sleeves and learning it.
Are you using one of the Vue 9 Architectural bundles, or Infinite?
If infinite, does the SketchUp plugin work with it? -
I'm using Infinite, but for some reason my exporter (first version) does not work right, I need to get hold of Dave for an update or something.
-
That looks super useful...great terrains in Sketchup.
Pete, I had to request an update to the exporter from Dave via email
-
Beautiful work, looks like a movie still shot.
-
I'd love to see a tutorial on either of those Pete. I'm working in VUE right now, and needless to say, I'm not quite getting the same level of realism as you manage

awesome work Solo... great fog... and I especially like how you used the elevation rules in Vue for that cutaway

Some freehand sculpting. Table mountain, Cape Town, South Africa.
Rendered with Vue.

Please keep this coming! Great stuff!
