Hi to Everyone - just INTRODUCING MYSELF

Hi,
I am not a big sketch up user but have used it years ago to create 3D structures to import into 3DS Max. I created this youtube vid using sketch up for the Angel of the North and 3DS to create the land and animation.

I am not brilliant at 3D and it takes me ages to do stuff I want to do.

Please forgive or ignore any stupid questions.

Hi Sean and welcome!

Eventually the land would not have been too hard to model in SU either. Animation is different but with some of the new plugins, that may have been possible, too.

I admit knowing what SU is actually capable of is one of the important aspects for it's proper use.
And not having used it for a while I am not familiar with the recent advances of this powerful application.

Thank you for your welcome and the information, I hope to improve my meagre skills with SU and become once again familiar with this brilliant tool.
