I am thinking about rendering a house with snow on it.. I am still thinking about how I would put snow all over the place.. Maybe with the Subdivide and Smooth plugin...

Thanks for all your Winter Wonderland renders so far - they've been great. However, to give those of you who've contacted me over the holidays time to finish your masterpieces we've extended the deadline to January 31st 2011.

          Keep them coming to shaderlight@artvps.com

              Kate

              A question please?
              Does Shaderlight multi-thread?
              Access available multi-core CPU's
              What about x64 ?

Very slick plugin but speed is always an issue.

              Thx

Yes, Shaderlight uses all possible cores in the CPU when raytracing and shading.
And yes, if you have a 64 bit machine the 64 bit version of shaderlight will get installed correctly.

                  Thx for the reply.
FYI the plugin installs as x32 for Win 7 as a default.

second place went to Abedallah with his Christmas log cabin and third was Zoungy with a great winter wonderland scene.

Congrats to all - some really nice renders over there (too bad some are really small on my screen).
