I just gave Layout a try.

At one point I got a yellow triangle appearing in the lower right corner of the model view. But there was no explaination within Layout to explain why it was there and what I needed to address. Not even a tooltip.

Searching the help groups I found an answer - but this isn't a smooth user experience. I'd really like to see a good clear explanation of the yellow alert triangle.
My immediate thought was that I could click it to get an explanation.

      Hi Thomthom,

this triangle mean that the view of the model is not the actual one...
you've made change in the model or the style and need to render it again (but there's an "auto render" option)
You can see this triangle next to the render button in the model inspector on the right...

      hope you'll understand my english...
and so happy to help you (sometimes it's good to be the one who knows 😍 )

Yes, it was there. But Auto was checked and the button disabled. I had to close and reopen the file for it to go away.
