Has anyone successfully added dynamic 3D content modeled by SU to their websites?

I'm interested and excited about this idea these days, could anyone shed some light on that?

I found one of the Google SketchUp Plugins may be promising, but there is no detailed discription about how to using this plugin. I can not even open the video on Youtube.. 😞

The Google SketchUp Web Exporter (Beta) allows you to enable a simple interactive view of your model for any web page without a browser plugin. This is an early release intended for web developers who are interested in adding dynamic 3D content to their website, or are interested in an example from which to start writing their own interaction for the browser. Learn more about how to use the Google SketchUp Web Exporter.

Requirements: The plugin works only on the PC, but the results are cross-platform and cross-browser. Access to web hosting services (e.g., pages.google.com ) are needed to publish your results.] "[/color]

Hi Julie. Take a look at Unity 3D for interactive 3D content in websites.

Jan Sandström has made this following website. (You'll need either IE, Firefox or Safari to view it)

Did you try downloading it? I tried with version 7 - don't work - but I see you have 6, so it might for you. Youtube is "unavailable" in these parts nowadays, but I seem to remember it made a set of six ortho images. You could do the same by making a plugin featuring [write_image](http://code.google.com/apis/sketchup/docs/ourdoc/view.html#write_image) and standard views .

With TBA interfaces we can analyse what is to be achieved so that IT can help with automation to achieve it.

There is this method, but requires the user install the Google Earth plugin.

There is a Javascript enabled means to interactively display Collada models in websites, using the free Google O3D viewer .

              • WebGL implementation of O3D
              • O3D Technical Overview
              • Samples Directory

One of the O3D websites I have personally played around with:

              • Smart Designer by SmartFurniture.com from the:

              • O3D Gallery of O3D websites
