For SketchUp-mas I want Lockable Text

Alright, I've had enough - I am tired of corraling the text then rounding them up on my models.
I would like to wake up one morning and find lockable text in my SketchUp-mas stocking.
Let me describe the situation. You have a nice model and you place some lovely text on it. Suddenly you notice something is wrong with the model, you zoom in to change it. You zoom back out and all that text you placed is now over there in La-la Land and you have to go get it and bring it back.
If I can align dimensions and have them move around with the model, why can't we do that with text notations?
